Were babysitting my great nephew so my niece can go out with her fella for the night, hes coming over from Ireland to be with her so we offered, I'm not a drinker, my hubby is content to sit and quaff the red wine at home, we enjoy each others company and the dog will be scarred when the fireworks start so we can all cosy up on the sofa and wait for Big Ben ourselves, hope you manage to get a sitter, good luck.

Possibly. We'll be going to bed about 10.30 with a cup of tea, a good book and some good quality wax ear-plugs. Will wake up about 6.30 on Jan 1st, feeling refreshed and will go for a good long walk (weather permitting). Most of the rest of the population will have a hangover and many will have a pretty miserable day!

We are going to the Sweden for New Year and ... some how I am jealous of you because i will have all 3 my kids, no sitter and ... family of my husband. They are nice people... You now that adv "I rather stay at home!" ? That's me

got kids too the girls in the village decided they are sick of staying in so we have got the village hall a disco bar and grub, not rock and roll but better than nothing!!
