I've read that it could last up to 10 days.

Remember that blood of a period is usually blackish in coulour. If it is red, then don't worry. It's normal and you can enjoy your sexual life very normally. Though I don't know the terminology in English...it's very healthy to practice vaginal sex during red bleeding from the vagina; but not black menstrual blood.

Ask a specialist physician too.

No it is not.I have a condition called menorrhagia and I have been told that no amount of heavy or irregular bleeding is good for the body.It can be the first sign of something dangerous...go to your doctor it is better to get these things checked out! Good luck!

It could be caused by stress or you may have a cyst, which isn't really anything to worry about, but the best thing to do is call your doctor. If you are sexuaslly active you may be miscarring.

I'm no expert, but it doesn't sound right?!

Always better to be safe than sorry - if you haven't already, go to the doctor!

Hope all is ok - Good luck!

I'm quite sure it is normal, but if you really believe it is bad, I'd make an appointment to see your doctor just in case.
