Definitely, I mean look at the teams right now. Some of the best teams in the east are barely above the 50% mark. While all of the top west teams are well above the 50% mark. They are loaded with talent including the Spurs, Suns, Mavericks, Jazz, Lakers, Houston, and now the Nuggets with Iverson. Slowly, the west is becoming the dominant force in the nba. I also looked up that the 5th seed in the west, which is the lakers are at a 66% win percentage. If they were in the east, they would be the number one team. That statistic really shows, the east is getting weaker and weaker.

the east sucks balls. their records are deceiving because they play crappy eastern teams, well someone has to win and that makes their records look better than it really is. most can't hold a candle to the worst teams in the west. except Memphis which should be in the eastern conference anyway.
