Why can't black QB's win a Super Bowl?

I know Doug Williams did it, but there has been lots of good ones since him that could not get it done.

white q-backs would have won.so i say let the white boy throw the ball, a "black man" will allways be there to catch
it and carry u thru the playoffs.

Well as you stated it has been done before. Their has only been 1 black QB winner due to the simple fact that they're have been very few Black Qb's in the Nfl until very recently. You can't just say why cant black Qbs do it because just as many white qb's have never won one. Ex: marino, kosar, while people like trent dilfer have won before. It's far about the actual talent surrounding him, than their abilites.

I'm not racist in any way shape or form and this is a very touchy subject but here is my input.

Most black QBs can run, plain and simple. QBs who think run first, pass second, cannot succeed in the NFL (see early years of Young, Elway, and Vick). It was not until they learned to pass first and run second that they could compete at a higher level. Because most black QBs run they have that in their mindset that they can win games with their feet. McNabb is one of the few who is doing a better job of showing pass first run second, unfortunately, his running cost him this year.

That is why Mike Vick will never succeed in the NFL, because he couldnt hit water if he fell out of a boat if he actually realized he had to throw the ball to win.

well its not the QB its the TEAM, this is a TEAM sport, the most TEAM sport played in teh usa today, you can have one great basketball player that can carry a team, you can have one great hitter in baseball that can just bout carry the team (with ok pitching) but football, you can have the greatest QB in the game and not do crap, if your Oline can't block or your deff can't tackle or your RB ave 3 yards a carry, or your WR can't catch.... but if you have all them other things and your QB sucks you aren't going anywere either, its a TEAM sport, so black white, brown purple, do'nt matter if you do'nt have the team around you to win
warren moon for the oilers was the closest since doug, (team wise) but they just could not get it done vick do'nt have the passing consistancy to prob ever make it inless he has a D like the bear, dolphins or ravens on the other side of the ball cuz he had the line and running game with him and dunn,

An african american "cant" win the SuperBowl, and then you say "but its already been done" ?? And Donovan McNabb almost did it 2 years ago. How many black QBs have actually made it and lost, then? Other than Williams and McNabb?

Wouldnt that mean, under your dumb-azz philosophy, that because more "white" QBs make it to the Super Bowl, there are actually MORE white quarterbacks that cant win it than black quarterbacks?

numbers there has not been a lot of black quarter backs and it is not a racial issue but i do guarantee that a black running back will win the super bowl because every starting and backup running back in the league is black
