I am interested to discover examples of courage in ordinary life that people feel they have undertaken, for instance when there have been things to do, that have been hard to achieve but were unavoidable and how courage saw them through difficult situations

i think it is called instinct

the first instinct to life is to live and we do what we have to do to survive. as much as it can be seen as courage, and acts of heroism are often courageous. the need to survive often gets us through situations which we might would dread when in a peaceful state of mind.

sometimes you can use your intuition and I don't know what else in a difficult situation. But what do you mean with term of trouble? I was near by when person started to have an epileptic fits. God! It strikes very fast! Two men near that poor lad did as paramedics from medical TV show! it was amazing. In real life they never used to any medical emergencies. How did they manage to safe life of another human being and went off straight after coz their wives are waited them at home?

The girl I wanted to marry was pregnant with my child, I was so happy but she ended up having an abortion and we broke up.
I ended up doing lots of drugs because I was really devastated, and one night, I ended up doing about 9 Ecstasy pills and was just thinking fuckk it if I die tonight, I dont care.

I woke up the next day feeling so awful, but strangely lucid and filled with clarity.

I had to FORCE myself out of my comfort zone and pack in a quite highly paid job, sell everything I had, and went back to stay with my parents overseas for a few months.

I dont know if it was courage that got me through it, or just the sense that I would be stronger & wiser later.

Hope this helps?

Actually it's FAITH
belief in your God that sees you through tough times.
My man left me, maybe even w/ child {too early to tell right now}
I feel man I can't go on!! But each day/night someone is drying my tears, someone is getting me dressed for work and to face life. It's not me....it's HIM. It's not really "courage" per say, because I can't think for the last few weeks since Thanksgiving..it's just Faith

I had the courage to choose Pepsi, not Coke.
Did you want a deep answer? Sorry, I'm a puddle.
