I have tried all the websites to find someone to contact reguarding what I believe to be a hybrid wolf. I need to communicate with someone who is highly knowledgeable in this field. I have lots of questions and need to get answers for safety purposes.

Thank you so much for any information.

Each state is different on their rules. Some states you can own anything, other states it is illegal. Hybrid wolves are dangerous- all people killed by "wolves" were actually by hybirds- they lost their fear of people. An interesting note is that they aren't true hybrids- a wolf and a dog is considered the exact same species. Canis familiaris is just a made up name.
A 1/2 wolf hybrid will most likely have straight ears, a long tail, no white markings, yellowish eyes (not blue or brown) and of similar coloring. The wolf coat pattern is dominant over most dog colors.

I don't know any websites that would help, but your best bet might be to contact the closest office of the fish & game, or wildlife department in your state. The have biologists that deal wth nuisance wildlife.
