Will the US ever apologise for the unnecessary use of nuclear weapons in Hiroshima and Nagasaki?

It's hard to say. There seems to be a lot of things in Japanese history that the Japanese, themselves, deny. The Rape of Nanking (I believe it was, or perhaps I'm wrong) is the biggest thing that they've denied so far. They've actually denied pretty much anything that seems shameful in anyway. For example, they deny ever invading their neighbor, Korea and torturing Korean prisoners. They even tried to escape the blame of Pearl Harbor at first. But it was obviously their doing... They eventually came around apologized for that one. But American veterans from Pearl Harbor never really forgave them. But who knows? The Rape of Nanking was so long ago, there are less records that could place as evidence that Japan might actually get away with denying that it ever took place, as appalling as that is. But perhaps I am not one to answer. I have absolutely nothing against Japanese people, but I am indeed biased against the Japanese government and their take on history because there are definitely some things that they twist in the eyes of the public. It's propaganda. It's brainwashing. Some crucial moments in history aren't even mentioned in any of their historical records. The Japanese people have contributed greatly to our society today, but I doubt that they will apologize for or even acknowledge shameful moments in their past like the Rape of Nanking any time soon, if ever.

Not only Nanking matter, but Japan have been released so many apology statements, comprehensive thogh, more than 35 times.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_war_apology_statements_issued_by_Japan
Of course, these include Nanjing matters as well.

However, when the world recognize individual historical issues, scholarss in the world NEED exact data for their verification. The "Nanjing" as well.
There are many research organizations and schlors about this issue in Japan.

You know Iris Chang, she released one book before.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Rape_of_Nanking_%28book%29

Japan also asked her to release this book in Japan.
And also Japan needed her to add exact data with the book. But she refused.Need more verification.

Why the numbers in the incident have been changed so many times? The world need to verify it, and will finally know the truth in the future.
I wonder why she committed suicide finally? I think her book is very important.

By the way, China appologized to Tibet? And no mention in their text book? It is the same attitude of every nation.
Anyway, the fact is fact. It has to be verified logically and scientifically. Japan want the truth as well.

Will China ever apologize for its bloody occupation of Korean Peninsula before Japan?
Will Chinese government ever apologize for killing a few million people during the Cultural Revolution?
Will China ever apologize for killing at least one million people in Tibet?
Will China ever apologize for invading Vietnam and India after the U.S. withdrawal from Southeast Asia?
Will China ever apologize for its oil-hungry diplomacy in Africa by ignoring UN action against human-rights campaign?
Chinese history after WWII alone is nothing but invasion, atrocity and human-rights abuse.
Mao Zedong killed millions, Deng Xiaoping smashed peoples power in Tiananmen Square, and Hu Jintao was in charge of Tibet when the mass murder took place.
Does China deserve to criticize other nations at all?
