just bought hd tv and tried xbox 360 with and without vga cable but no sound???

do i need a toslink digital audio cable aswell??

your xbox 360 should come with the correct cables they have coloured tips- red blue green is the (high def)video and the white and red is audio. dont use the yellow one. you dont need to use the vga adapter if you have high def
