Whenever I go on a service call, that is the first thing I say. It usually gets a good laugh!!!

It helps soften the water, as many others out there do.

Should've used Calgon!

My guy told me when I asked about the validity of using Calgon that he has had to scrape it off some machines....guess that was a thumbs down. Personally, I put a 55pence bag of washing soda in on a hot wash every month, clean machine(no greasy gunge) Clean drains too.

He's likely to say, "Hey, I've never seen one like this, who did the wiring on this thing? It's going to be a special order for parts, over time on the install, and I can't guarantee the work because who ever fixed it before really fouled it up."
