I'm ordering the Enamel Navy DS as a Christmas gift for that special someone, but the color's not available in the US (so have to get it imported from Japan). In the notes for the product it says that it's 110v, while the U.S. runs most things on 100v or 120v?

So yeah... my question is whether or not I'll need a stepdown converter for this difference, or if I'm wrong about the U.S. voltage use in general. Any help would be great. Thanks!

This is the product in question: http://www.renchi.com/renchi/Product?productID=19451

It will work just fine. Most things in the US will work fine for anything in between 100-120V. I usually measure 117V on my outlets. A 110 device will work. Parts of Japan use 50Hz instead of 60Hz but their adapters will usually do either or anyways.
