Why won't Yahoo let me use the term "***-end" in my reply to a query about cigarettes? (That's f a g e n d)
Is this a filter too far? (pun intended!)

I don't think so. The filter is set up around American lingo and what's inappropriate here. So if I were to say "Bollocks", I'm fairly confident it won't catch it.

(And it didn't by the way)

So sorry if we in the states use your term for something far more hateful here. Heck I could probably say **** and pillock and have no trouble.

Be careful using the word f a g in the US - you'll get funny looks if you start saying "I'm just popping out for a f a g".

A f a g is another term for a guy who swings one way.
