Hey I recently discovered just how awesome sublime is and I am a new fan. I have 40oz. to freedom cd and sublime. I think 40oz.to freedom is best so far. Will I enjoy the other cd's too? Should I buy them? What do you think?

Wow, I wish I just discovered sublime. I love how I felt when I first heard them. I love their music soooo much. Their earlier stuff has some skits here and there between the songs. But, for the most part, I really love most of what sublime has done! There are also some other bootleg albums out there that show early versions of their popular and not as popular songs. They show how intricate and talented these artists were and also just how much work one of their songs entailed. I think you'll be happy with their other stuff. Try Long Beach Dub Allstars too. Although they don't have Brad Nowell with them anymore, they are still the musicians that were in Sublime. They are noteworthy =) Hope that helps!

First of all Marley came first, as this is his song. Sublime of course replicated it for our generation :P It is a mistake it's not head it's him. "But first take care of him", hope that clears that up. If you don't believe me, listen to the song closely. Also Google holds the answers, all lyric websites say it's "him" What Sublime means it's but first take care of his head, his mental state and being. Pssst.. It's not brown eyed girl either. I was referring to the slight word change that Marley used first, he says "him", Sublime says "head". The connection I think, is to either sexually satisfy "him" by "head" or the more abstract approach of taking care of his head, none will have a exact answer, unless you ask Brad what the hell he meant.

40 OZ is their best CD IMO where the self titled is still very good. The Robin' the Hood album is way different than those 2, I don't like it much.
