I was on those patches called Ortho Evra, and after I stopped using them, it took me 8 months to conceive, but I lost the baby at 8 weeks. Have been trying ever since with no luck for 7 months now.

I was on the pill, and stopped it about a month before DH and I got married since we decided to start a family. After we were married, I was pregnant 3 months later. I've heard that 3 months is the typical period of time it takes to conceive. If you and your husband are committed to it and both want a child, just relax and let nature take it's course. Good luck to you!

After I stopped taking the pill, it took me 2 months to get pregnant. It was very frusturating. But depends what type of contraceptive you are using. I hear with the Depo provera, if you miss your scheduled injection, you have very high chances of getting pregnant.

I was on the patch for 4 months when I became pregnant with my first child. I had been on the nuva ring for a month when I became pregnant with my second. I have had the mirena for nearly 2 years and haven't gotten pregnant...lol. Good luck.
