If so, then how did u recharge the battery?
did u use a "convertor" ? I heard that those "convertors" can harm the battery or laptop. Is it true?

Most newer laptops won't need a converter, but you will need an adapter to plug it in. Check your power source, if it says 110 volts to 240 volts, you're good. I've used mine in Europe and the middle east with no problems.

You have to use the power converter outside of the US. The plugs won't fit and the voltage is different anyway, it would damage your computer if you did make it fit without a converter/adapter.

I don't think it will damage your battery any more than it gets damaged through normal use. They have a lifetime and they'll die sooner or later regardless of whether you use a power adapter or not.

You don't need a transformer but just a plug converter. Your power brick will do the transforming for you.

Many modern places in India have American plugs but all you need is a plug adapter.

yes, you will need an adaptor for 220 volts for power and it will be difficult for you to find wireless connectivity. so carry an internet connection cable with you. There are a lot of internet cafes out there so ou should not have a problem.

Use a converter. That's why they are made. It will not hurt your computer.
