I have this guinea pig. He's getting older (I've had him for a few months) and started to eat more. I normaly feed him one scoop, but every day he's eaten it all by the end of the day. Why is this?

Basically Guinea Pigs are eating machines and will eat as much as you give them. They should be given all the hay they want but those alfalfa pellets and any grain and other fresh greens should be moderate.
One has to be careful with these critters getting too fat - they've earned the name "pig" for this very reason.
Basically a handful of the pellets/grain each day is sufficient for one guinea pig, add a few fresh greens, fresh water, all the hay they want. You will have a very happy and healthy piggie.

Well, I'm not sure why that is, but I know I've had my guinea pig for a couple of months, and she has been eating more since I got her. The only thing that I could think of was that she was just getting more comfortable in her cage and not being so scared/afraid.

I know that with the food I buy it says to let guinea pigs eat as much as they want, but I also give hay and grass to, but greens are 'sposed to be fed sparingly so they don't get sick.

That is normal, in a way, because you're feeding him an inappropriate diet.

He should only receive 1/8th to 1/4th of a cup of plain pellets once per day, but he should have unlimited amounts of a grass hay like timothy or orchardgrass, and 1 cup of vegetables per day. If he has hay to eat in an unlimited amount, I would not worry about him eating all of his pellets per day.

Guinea pigs eat a lot, period. Maybe he's getting more bored lately. Maybe you should take him out more.
