change the half to 50%, it becomes 50% full, 50% empty, 50% of the containers volume or you can be a realist its 100% of all you have now, and the containers size becomes irrelevant!
I like the 100% or whole option.

Finally some one offering realistic choices and thinking in a continuous manner. They may be hope for philosophy yet. It is always merely half a glass of anything, to a realist. Now I will go about " thumb's downing " all the discontinuous answers; those pessimists and optimists, the dichotomous.

Or maybe whole? I have a whole half of a muffin right here. I only eat the tops of muffins, so that half is the whole thing to me.

If you filled it halfway, it's half full. If you took half of it out, it's half empty.

I always think if there's only half it musn't be that good or it would be empty...that's if you're referring to the proverbial "half empty/half full glass".

It depends on who's round it is, if its my round then your glass is half full, if it's your round then my glass is half empty.
