BYU by 20. easy, and i suggest for best answer you wait till after the game tonight. no one can stop Beck and oregon is on a 3 game losing streak while byu is on an 8 game win streak and they're still rivoting off a last 3 seconds play that lasted 11 seconds to beat their arch rivals, utah. they have all the momentum.

Bowl games are basically meaningless with regard as to how a particular conference performs. All too often the match ups look great on paper based on regular season performance. But the reality is supposed upsets occur due to one team loosing its regular season momentum and edge, coaching changes, injuries/illness during the holiday practice period, and finally you have to figure in the mental aspect of a team being down due to playing in a lesser bowl game. So while the MW may look great going 5-0 or 4-1 in the bowl games, it doesn't suddenly mean it is a portent to MW schools being able to play with Big 12, SEC, or Pac 10 schools on a week to week basis. Now if MW schools performed this way in Bowl games only a week or two removed from the regular season, I would say WOW, but five and in some cases six weeks after the regular season ends, is a one game aberation.

The team from the inferior conference usually has a motivation edge in these minor bowls. However, in this case, BYU is favored and that negates that edge. Oregon will win.

Does Oregon get to bring their own officiating crew? If so, BYU has no chance, otherwise, it's a toss up.
