what would you do at night?

only 25 years ago with the exception of the tv none of these other appliances were around. and not everyone had a telly then.

so the use of imagination would be a factor to entertain ourselves once more.

and maybe just maybe the world would be a better place as the need for communicating would be higher on the agenda than it is today when we just turn on our computer sit here for hours until bedtime then awake go to work come home and back on my computer

all i can say is thank goodness i have 2 one for me and one for my wife

Most evenings are spent working (often usiing my computer). I'm doing ths now whilst watching TV though, so I dont work all the time.
I'd probably play my clarinet more, or do some needlework, or I've just bought a new jigsaw or there's a whole load of Xmas pressies waiting to be wrapped, not to mention a shopping list to be written toprepare for Xmas.
I might even talk to hubby - or spend time with him in some other way

Sit hear with my last candle burning, bored and cursing myself for throwing out my TV, Computer, Games console and electronic items.

I was around when there wasn't any electronics that you mention above. THAT WAS 70 YEARS AGO. gee OUR FOREFATHERS WHO PUT TOGETHER THE DECLARATION OF INDEPENDENCE , WOULD HAVE A HARD TIME DEALING WITH US FOOLS OF TODAY One wonders where it all will end.
