Answering these questions takes my mind off my horrible job...
As to what came first....it had to be the egg...where else would you get a chicken?

God created the chicken when He created the animals.
So He created the chicken to make eggs, the chicken came first.

Hmmm, always a good one. I believe the Chicken came first. God and Noah put pairs of animals on the ark, I don't think that he put two eggs on the ark.
