The best way to do this is to tell your parents. Sooner or later the school or teachers will tell them so just bite the bullet. IF you won't do that than you could tell your parents that you are helping a friend out or going to see a friend or going to a game somewhere with a friend. But they may call up the friend and find out that you aren't there. Look They are strict, I get that but speaking from experience they usually find out about these things and it's just easier to tell them than to have to cover it up. You're already in trouble for being late at school. Do you really want to be in trouble with your parents for being late, getting detention and lying to them? That's compounding the problem. Not solving it! Good luck! bye!

Simple answer - tell your parents. They will respect you for doing so.
However I do question the validity of a Saturday morning detention after school has finished. Who will be there to supervise you? I know I wouldn't!
Go see the teacher and negotiate an alternative solution, eg, two afternoon detentions. Point out your good record. Be reasonable. Are you going away on holidays on that day or do you begin vacation employment?
if that does not work, ask for help from your parents. Because you were honest with them, they will back you. Good luck!

Hmm. The fact that your parents ARE strict makes things quite problematic. If your school is the kind that reports detention notices back home (through mail or phone), then there really is no choice but to tell the truth. If they do not report back to your parents about you getting detention, then you can offer execuses such as volunteer work, helping out at school, etc.

Try telling them the truth. It was only one Saturday. Hopefully they will let you off easy since this is your 1st detention.

accuse that the teacher who gave you detention raped you not too long ago. its an excuse, a revenge on the teacher and if you can handle the humiliation, you are in everyones pity list. the possibilities for trouble are endless!

i notice the Chopin in your SN, i assume you are a musician...
good ol whatsherface has a piano recital that you would like to go to. at the school, that way your parents could even drop you off.
