Other than pre-med I mean. I'm asking mainly for someone with an interest in professions like neurologist, and neurosurgeon. Also, comparing Biology and Chemistry majors, I hear that Biology is better, but how much worse is Chemistry if this is the case?

It depends on what you want to do in the medical field. If you want to be a nurse, you can major in nursing.

If you want to be a Doctor, you can major in anything you want. As long as you complete certain prerequisites set by the med school you want to attend, and score high on the MCAT, you can pretty much get in.

Neurology and Neurosurgery are Secialties of Medical Doctors. You would have to graduate from med school, then do a residency in whatever field you want to specialize in.
