Tampons are awesome!!! They are kinda tricky to figure out at first though, and it may take you a couple of trys at inserting one before you actually get it right. There are instructions in each box that tell you how to use them. Just remember to relax while you're putting it in and it will be much easier. Also, make sure that you change it frequently to avoid TSS.

Tampons are so much better than pads. Some of them are so small that they fit into your pocket. When you get your period at school by surprise, you can just stick the tampon in your pocket to rush to the bathroom. They don't feel like diapers like many people describe pads. You're not supposed to feel them either. Isn't that great! I'm glad you have decided to use tampons. Once you get used to them, you'll LOVE them!

Tampons are safe as long as you don't keep them in you for more than 4 hours. You need to change them often as you can develop toxic shock syndrome which can be fatal. I used them all the time and was fine with them. One time, at the end of my period, I forgot one was in there and that was a very nasty situation so please don't forget about them because you can't feel them inside you. Good Luck and Happy Periods!

Of course tampons are safe. That is why they are out there. It is perfectly normal to be scared to use them and you might have a tad bit of trouble using them at first, but don't worry. You'll get used to them:]

Yes tampons are ok, but NEVER leave them in there when your not bleeding heavy enough, they are different absorbs so if your not bleeding that much get the "light" ones but if your heavier just keep getting the stronger brand that you need.

no!!!
tampons suck...they only show in teh commercials that happy girls are swimming and wearing white..but u can do that any other time!!
no matter what ur wearing, u will still get stomach cramps and bloating...so why stick something else up there?
u can get toxic shock syndrome from wearing infected tampons (some may just come infected), but there is no known problem with wearing pads
pads may seem gross b/c u can see everything, but how gross is it to pull something out of ur...

i was terrified to first use tampons i will admit that. i will also admit i stalled on using them till i was 19. but they are sooooooo much better then pads. cleaner easier. everything.

Yes they are fine. To find out how to insert them read the instructions in the box. As long as you dont wear them for more than 6 hours.

yeah have you ever read the paper inside a tampon box well it tells you what you need to know.they'll okay as long as you dunt leave it in too long the paper has the info.
