Hell Yes! Dallas would have won 4 superbowls in a row if it were not for Gerry Jones. Though I love Tom Landry I think Jimmy was better and would have done more

As far as Legacy, Tom Landry was more loved and had a longer track record. However, Jimmy Johnson took over and turned the team around. He coached for 5 years during a time when the Cowboys were able to draft and develop unbelievable talent - Troy Aikman, Michael Irvin, and Emmit Smith. Jimmy Johnson won two superbowls and so did Tom Landry. I do not know if he was the best coach - if he could have stuck it out - he probably would have been the alltime best cowboy coach.

Jimmy Johnson was good, but Tom Landry is an NFL legend. Not many coaches have made the same accomplishments that Landry made. Johnson is the runner up

Tom Landry was the best. It helps a coach alot when players were as good the 90's cowboys. If not for the Herschal Walker trade Those players on the 90's team would not be there. ( Look the trade up if you dont remember). Landry is the man and always will be.

Tom Landry was the greatest Dallas coach of them all and was known for far more than just being a great coach. He was also an innovator particularly in new offensive schemes and certainly a class act like the NFL needs more of now.

Yes. Jimmy might be coaching as soon as next season. Keep an eye on this issue sometime this week. Once teams fire coaches from teams not making the playoffs Jimmy will get a few calls. I think Arizona or Detroit would be a good fit.
