They each have their own character. Bu I would say that Georgia has the sweetest. I prefer the South Louisiana accent, but it is a little rough to be considered the "nicest".

Mine, Georgia! But really, I guess it depends on personal preference...the more "northern" and western southern regions tend to be more "nasal," whereas the southernmost states have more of a drawl. I prefer the latter, but then, I'm from there, so I'm biased.

I was partly raised in the south, and spent many years here...I don't find southern accents particularly appealing and made sure I never acquired a strong one...

It was fine on Scarlett O'Hara, but nowadays they just sound uneducated (even if the person speaking is a genius)...
