I feel like My life is going backwards?

Hi,

I was married for 12 years, I was married very young and I have two daughters 11 a 8. 4 years ago I read a text message on my wifes cell phone which was pretty filthy, she denied it but the phone bills showed up lengthy conversation over 3 months which I had no doubt. I stayed for a year through lack of evidence and I forgave her then finally I left the family home after she came home at 4 am with a love bite on her neck, claiming it was her female friend. I was pretty devistated. I had become very successful during the marriage not through any choice other than to keep up with the wifes credit card repayments. She is a great Mum but I knew I deserved better? Its been 4 years now and I have not met any one that takes my spark and I feel like my life is going in a downward spin. I am great friends with her now but i would never go back. Would like some reassurance. Please!!

I think that when people hit a certain age they feel like they have reached their peak. You probably think that you're going to be lonely forever, but the truth is if you are really as great as you say you are, then you won't be lonely for long. No matter how old you are there is tons of fish out in the sea. The reason you haven't found one is because you're looking in the wrong places.

You can meet women in the gym, bank, post office, bar, club, museum, movie theatres, etc. You might just not be over your ex-wife and how badly she hurt you. You're probably just afraid to get your heartbroken again. And the truth of the matter is that after 12 years, you should know exactly what you want and like. So find someone. You can even find someone on the internet.

Remember, a woman only gets away with what a man allows her to get away with. And vice versa.

Life and time does not move backwards. The one you are meant to be with is out there, but will not show up until you are truely ready. Being lonely does not mean you are ready. When you can be happy with yourself, you can find happiness in others. If you think negatively, then negative things will happen because you will have your eyes closed to good. Think positive, know that you will be happy, know that there is someone out there for you and you will find each other when the time is right. I'm not a religious freak, but tell God you are ready for the most spectacular woman in the world, shout it at him! You must choose to take the good things from your marriage and apply those to what you are looking for. If you harbor negative things from your marriage then you will portray that, nobody wants a negative nancy. =)
