The mother was trying just as hard to kill them. Remember the part where it shows her powdering the cookies with arsenic? They both were to blame.~

Eddie, Thank you this was a wonderful mother's day gift to all the mother's that read this, your mother must be proud of you. I laughed and I cried as I read this. I lost my mother two months ago so this was wonderful. I don't know how old you are or if you are a mother yourself so just in case Happy Mother's Day to you to. My boys took me to the movies and helped me with some extra chores for mother's day. Thank you again Eddie this was wonderful

In the movie they were both in it together. I think the only one who knew about that kids and felt sorry for them was the butler. (He wasn't in the book).
Over all the movie stuck somewhat to the book but not really close enough. When I saw the film, I was kind of irratated with the ending. The kids confront the mother on her wedding day, she trips over the rail and gets hung by her veil but nobody stops the kids from walking out the front door. WTF?!?!
Didn't quite make sense.

In the novel and the movie, Grandmother Olivia did nothing to save Catherine, Chris, Carrie or Corey. But it was mother Corrine who poisoned and killed Corey w/ arsenic sprinkled over powered sugar doughnuts.

That was a grest book also and it was a long time since i read it but i believe the grandmother tried to kill them also it was the oldest brother that saved the rest of the children

I think the grandmother was the one who put the mother up to it. They were both crazy! I just saw that movie again a couple of weeks ago.
