I can't wait until Carmelo tries to punch AI.

Then AI beats the crap out of him.

(sarcastically)-- oh yeah like they're gonna trade AI after giving up 2 first round picks in the "Greg Oden Draft" and Andre Miller, one of the premier guards in the league before the trade deadline in 2 months, and Melo's suspension is over like almost a month before the deadline. Unless the Nuggets are the dumbest organization in the NBA and just take in AI for 15 games before Melo comes back and then trade them away, then they are NOT going to trade AI again.

No- Denver will be a major force, and everyone will want AI, but he should be good in Denver. He probably will not be thrilled with the market, but they will make the playoffs and AI will be happy about that.

Absolutely not! Once Carmelo gets back, you will have two of the leagues preeminent scorers. There run-and-gun style will make them a scary team in the playoffs, regardless of their seeding.

This was not one of those "trades-within-a-trade" type moves like Atlanta made a couple years ago when they acquired Rasheed Wallace for one game.
