Zidane deserved to get the FIFA player of the year award. And about Juventus Cannavaro left to Real Madrid with Emilson and Juventus's 2004/05 and 2005/06 victories in Serie A were striped away because of their relegation so what are you talking about.

Umm,,, Just because Cannavaro wins 1 player of the year award does make him better than Zidane and Henry for JUST this year. But honestly that is not gonna make him better than ZIDANE AND HENRY everytime. Zidane has himself won the honour 3 times and I'm sure Henry will get atleast 2 times before he retires. Zidane is better than both Cannavaro and Henry. The thing is Cannavaro may be better this year but that doesnt make him greater than Zidane. p.s. Go to wikipedia and check out zizou's personal honours!! You'll be shocked.

No. Gianluigi Buffon deserved to win. He kept playing with Juventus even though they got relegated Serie B. Also, Cannavaro probably left for more money, he turned his back on his club that helped him become a world champion. But Buffon, a world champion helped Juventus in their time of need.

Q's like these keep being posted and then if you answer truthfully according to what you believe in, sincerely, in your heart, as objectively as u can and without using any insulting words, and you give your honest opinion on who you think deserves it more, still they say you insult canna and so they proceed to insult zizou too with hurting words like s.o.b... i mean, couldn't these posters at least warn us that only one kind of opinion is welcome? at least then we need not waste our time answering.
