To find the percentage of any number,,,,,take that number and multiply it by the the amount of the percentage. You have to change the percentage amount into a decimal number. With percentages, the decimal is always at the end. You move the decimal 2 number over. So, to change the 10% here, you move the decimal from the O to the left twice which puts it in front of the 1 (10. = .10). Then take the $3500 and times it by the .10 and that will give you the $350.
You follow this process for every problem you have. (An easy thing to remember is when you see the "of" in a problem like this, it means to multiply.
