Hello,
I need help with something that's been on my mind. I want to return to college to get a degree and I will be 40 years of age when I finish completing my degree. I am concerned about if I will be hired and get a decent job at the age of 40 and provide better for my family or am I wasting my time thinking I can do it. I welcome all questions to help me. Thank you

College graduates do make more money than high school graduates. You'll also feel personally enriched by doing it -- it's a wonderful challenge to have to learn how to study all over again, and you learn a lot. College helps you think, learn to write and learn to research, all of which are great skills in life.
Good luck!

of course if it's some thing you want to do and you believe in yourself a 100% then go ahead there is nothing wrong with getting a higher education but you seem like your looking for a long-term career so in my opinion you should and if you do best of luck

Go for it- at your age the employer may consider your maturity a plus and think you are in to it to be permanent and not bounce from job to job-D
