Nothing is permanent, Everything is temporary. We are only passing through this life, try and make the best of it, knowing that the best is yet to come. Don't let the blues get you down - "they" too, will pass.

Call up some old friends and do some reminiscing of the good ol days, go tell your family members that you love and appreciate them. Give somebody a hug and get really hug them, hugs are great for moods. Do good deeds for the day, hold the door open for somebody, help an elderly cross the street or something to that affect, doing things for other people should make you feel good about yourself. good luck

Take 7 deep cleansing breathes. GO for a walk and get your head cleared. Go buy a new CD, new outfit, do something positive. Drink some green tea, mango flavored..Go for a drive and listen to some music really loud.
Fresh air always helps. Is there anyone you can talk to about your feelings?

Nothing brings us out of the blues as well as seeing and helping other people who have a genuine reason to have no hope (but they usually do anyways!) Get "outside" of yourself somehow. Go offer your services somewhere that you can help out. Soon you will feel grateful for the life you live, and better about yourself for helping others.

It's christmas and a lot of people get the blues. I have the blues because my family is not around for this holiday. i celebrate with my spouses family but it hurts that my family is not around at all. they do not agree with the fact that my husband is a white man and i am black. his family loves me and my children and that makes me happy for a while at least. my family did not even come to our wedding 3 years ago. I just try to block it out but it really hurts and on holidays it comes out but to get over it i have to suppress it. at least his family loves me and our children.
