There is never any real way of telling what a woman means or wants when she does things. That is the beauty of them. All you can do is try to figure it out and make your move. Now she calls you fat right after carressing your ear? Strange but also a defense mechanism. She is being affectionate but playfully mean to throw you off. Perhaps "Hard to Get" or simply showing you she likes you, then getting scared and covering it right back up.
