My baby girl was breech and I ended up having a c-section. They did it a week early then her due date. It was due to the unusual shape of my uterus. But I have heard that breech is more common with multiples, and small babies. Also I am a triplet and we were all breech.

My labor was induced.. I was a week past my due date so I was ready for the baby to come out. After about 4 hours of contractions, my OB checked my dialation and I heard him say "that feels too soft to be a head".. they got the sonogram out and yup... he was breech. So I had a c-section. It was such a relief to end the contractions. I didn't want a c-section, but the doc told me that my 10 pound baby had such a big head and since Im a pretty small girl, that I would have probably ended up with a c-section anyway. So... it was fine, the only thing I hate right now is my insicion pain... hopefully I'll heal quickly. My baby is definately worth it though!

My baby was breech and I saw my chiropractor and he did a procedure on me in his office twice and the baby flipped and stayed put, had a natural birth thankfully! My OB was starting to talk c-section which I didnt want.
I think it was called the Webster Technique. Has a very high success rate. Not painful at all. He gave me a book and materials to read ahead of time. I was totally comfortable and confident about having it done. Better than having your body manhandled trying to forceably rotate the baby (ECV or EVC???) by applying external pressure.

Yes u can opt for the C-segment. My aunts child used to be breech just about until the top. She used to be on no account going to allow them to flip it. She used to be determining the C-segment. The child did flip however she ended up with C-segment in any case. This approach u speak of have got to be the only wherein they are attempting to show it at the same time u are in hard work. Why they could wish someone to move by way of that's loopy. That would possibly nonetheless no longer paintings and u would nonetheless grow to be with a C-segment. It will simply put on u out extra. Tell your midwife if that child do not flip u wish to have a scheduled C-segment.

I had a breech baby, but at 36 weeks they did a external version to turn the baby. Not all doctors feel comfortable in doing that. I winded up witrh a c-section b/c of failure to desend or prgress

In 1967, I myself was breech...which was dangerous as medical professionals in 1967 didn't have the resources they have now.
I myself had 3 natural births, all went well.
