no. not if it's something you'll demand.

the guy seems to be treating you and your kids right. he seems to be respectful and it sounds like he's being the man your baby's daddy should have been. be thankful for what he has DONE. be satisfied with that. if you put demands on him and expect him to do things he really has no requirement to do, then you're asking to either be disappointed or alone.
if all he buys you and the kids for Christmas is dinner at McDonald's, say your grace and pass the fries.
It ain't about the money, babygirl.

Any damends you dont put on the dad then dont put on your man. Christmas is a Holiday that can be however you want it to be so its really an option for folks to buy gifts. As long as the most important bills, i.e GE, Phone and rent are split then dont get into it about the gifts, especially if you think it will cause an argument and ruin Christmas anyway

You two have to decide that for yourselves. There's no rule of ettiqutte here. Maybe you should just be grateful that he treats your kids good and splits all the bills 50/50.

Let him decide how much he wants to contribute to Christmas presents. He sounds like a real peach.

Absolutely, if he intends to act as their father than he should do it whole heartedly. It's all the way or nothing if you ask me. He took on that role when he started dating you.

It's not really his responsibility, it's the Dad's. If he offers that's great but don't expect it.
