Forget it unless you have LOTS of self-discipline! It's always easy to put it off until another day. That said, choose a good program, not a degree mill.
I earned an M.S. in financial economics from the University of London's distance learning program in 1998. Excellent program, the quantitative courses were brilliantly written. The assignments were hard, mini term papers. The tutors who graded them wrote pages of comments for each assignment.
You will learn a lot if you are the type who can pick things up without a lot of handholding.
Tuition is more reasonable than U.S. universities. Check out their web site, they offer a lot of different degrees

as in online distance learning??? or correspondence- I have done both = and you need to read everything very carefully and be self disciplined to fill out the forms and do the homework assignments- and how difficult it is varies on the type of course and how much homework you get- and the reading can take time- it was well worth it for me- D
