Any advice on growing pyracantha in Michigan?

I'm going to plant it in 2007.

Pyracantha grows well. You will have to consider the cold and snowy weather in Michigan and do like you do your other plants. Otherwise, it should grow well.

That stuff is like holly and will grow most anywhere. Pile up leaves around the base in the winter.
