Chinchilla's are great pets if you have the time for them they are a long term responsibility and not for the person who wants a cuddly pet. But I love both of ours to death. Please make sure you research everything you can before you buy one. Check petfinder to see if there are any for adoption. Also try and find a breeder and look for maybe an older chinchilla as they have already developed their personality. Petstore chins are not always the healthest animals as they are the breders cast offs.

I hope you know what you're getting into. If you want to come down here to VA, I'll give you my step daughters. Have you studied up on them or owned one before? The attitude is bad enough, it's the intentional directional squirted pee I can't stand.
