I think everyone worldwide has an opinion on whether it remains effective or not.

I think it's up to the people, believe it or not. Some consideration should be reserved for those who in a selfless manner loved their people, were elevated by them, and gave themselves if for nothing else for the land they loved in a time it was possible and difficult to do.
