Do you mean elongated cents, the ones with different things engraved on them? If so they actually make a cardboard holder for them that you staple shut like the ones made for coins. For this type holder try www.brooklyngallery.com, they are a large coin supply company. the holders are 2X2 and fit into the 20 pocket 3 ring binder plastic pages. They sell them also. If this is what you are taking about, this type of rolled cent has been around at least since 1893. I pick them up once in a while for the fun of it, usually if it has a historic theme but I do have a set of dinosaurs. There is even a collectors group. Type in elongated cents in to Yahoo and you will find them.

When I find damaged pennies I try to fix them. I do have a few, I put them in my jar and roll them so they can go to the bank.
