I married a divorced man.his ex-wire was having an affair that's why they got divorced. they have 3kids. the kids are nice to me. anywz, yesterday was his bday. i bought a lot of gifts for him coz i also include his kids and mine too (we have kids too). when his kids arrived i was just surprised that they brought a gift for their dad. that was fine though but it was not only coming from them but also from their mom. of course, the kids cant afford to buy EXPENSIVE BRANDED Things yet. I ask him if the kids always give him presence and he agreed. i ask him how come i didnt know last year-he said he forgot what they gave him.i am just a housewife, so i cant afford very EXPENSIVE one (he is used to have those kind of clothes), so i told him il just returned my gifts for you coz your ex-wife is better than what i have. so, all this time the presents that he received and used it are all coming from her ex-wife. he is not suppose to wear or use it coz he is aware that it is his ex-wife buying

Ummm......yes jealous. I understand where you are coming from though. And you are not JUST a housewife, you take care of your home and children. It shouldn't matter what the ex buys, the gift is from the kids not her, remember they are to young to have money, so she makes the purchase. I purchased expensive things for my ex to give to him from my son, I didn't want him back or had any feelings for him, I just wanted him to have a nice gift from his son, I wasn't doing it to try to out do anyone or anything. Just for our child did I purchase nice things. Get over it, who cares, a gift is a gift and if she sees it she won't comment, after all it is from his children and its important for them to know he really liked it. I say to you grow up a tad bit.

You are acting in a jealous manner. I'd suggest not making a big deal over the ex-wife's presents. If he is like most guys they will just become part of his wardrobe and have no special significance. Get on with your life, take typing lessons, and write in real English.

Sounds to me like your jealous. You said yourself that his children can't afford to get him things so their mother pays for it. The gifts are still from the kids and not his ex.

Also, the amount of money spent shouldn't matter. It's the thought and effort behind the gifts that counts.
