how does this person bother you? on purpose...they are just an annoying person? or are they just trying to be annoying...i don't care if everyone hates the person...the reason that this person would be bothering you and if everyone hates this person then why aren't these people standing up for u if they think that u're any better? maybe u should try figurin that out...i think the best option is to try and not be a ***** bout it but to be serious and cool with urself and tell the kid to leave u alone....but not like a *****...kk? cuz what r the rest of the people gonna think...if they already hate this kid...then u need 2 approach this seriously as in a mature fashion. but seriously...how many people hate u?

If this person is bothering you, there really isn't anything you can "teach" him. It seems the more you engage him, the more annoying he will be. My mother always says that bad attention is better than no attention. This means that some people LIKE to gain that kind of attention. "Teaching him a lesson" as you put it, doesn't do anything but frustrate you or make you feel better, not do anything to him. He gets what he wants, attention.
Find more important things to do in your life, and people like him will not seem so important to you.

A good way to teach someone a lesson is to wait until they are ready to learn the lesson.

leave him or make him feel that he ll lose u if he ll carry on in his behavior.
the best way is to forget him, and do not bother yourself looking at him , giving him ur attention .
