I packed *his* new car and left. (later returned the car) got a new job, new place, and a new guy, all in about 2 weeks. He's still single. His mom told him he was an idiot for treating me the way he did, and asked me if I wanted to come visit them and stay with them a while. Nice lady.

When Dragon's fiance left her (cuz his mommy told him to, and Dragon had been gone that week, so she came home to find that he'd moved out), Dragon's dog ate a fishing lure and Dragon had to spend the evening at the emergency vet. Nothing like dog drama to heal a broken heart.

it's a long and complicated story, so brace yourself. i had made a mess of my entire life for the sake of my ex, dropped out of college, lost my good job, alienated myself from my family, ect. all in all, he was pretty worthless, couldn't hold a decent job, expected everything to just be handed to him, but i continued to put up with his bullshit because i was for some stupid reason i was in love with him. we had our first daughter in january of 2004, and she passed away when she was a week old from surgical complications. 4 months later i found out i was pregnant again. about halfway through my second pregnancy, he got his ex fiance pregnant, (she had a misscarriage 2 days after he told me about it) and he had the audacity to blame his infidelity on the death of our first daughter. and i, being my stupid and stubborn self, insisted that we were going to make it work out, if for no other reason than our new baby's sake. so a couple months after our daughter is born, he decides he's going to take off to vegas to "find himself", leaving me with nowhere to go but back to my parents house to have my sisters support me and my baby. a couple weeks later, fate intervened and had me cross paths with the man i've loved since i was 13 years old at a mutual friend's baby shower. he had gone through pretty much the exact same thing with his ex wife, and he was a single father supporting his daughter on his own. long story short, we're now engaged, and my life couldn't be better now.

Ok, ahem, the abridged version of "My Only Experience with Baby Mama Drama" ......
New Year's Eve, 1988, then bf was at family party with his baby's mama, calls feather girl says he is staying there, leaves feather girl alone on New Year's Eve....New Year's Day, feather girl calls over to bf's parent's house in AM, baby's mama answers the phone, tells me she "slept over" (in gory detail)....feather girl gathers all of Christmas gifts bf got her, has father drive her over to bf's parents house (too furious to drive herself), politely knocks on door, calmly greets bf's family, walks into his bedroom where he is sitting with his bro and proceeds to throw every gift at him while calling him every name in the book, (bro is busting a gut laughing), when finished feather girl slams bedroom door, politley says good bye to bf's family and leaves.
I had never acted like that before and have not acted like that since! After all, I'm a lover not a fighter. But, damn, every throw felt so good! I call it my power moment, lol.

I took a trip to Tahiti by myself and really just got over it...I thought "oh well, might as well enjoy life and learn to do it on my own". So far, so good.
