Yes, as long as you agree on how you will raise your children and decide what faith you will teach them to follow.

Yes, but the amount of work involved depends on how different the faiths are. For example, my friend's mother-in-law is Catholic, while her father-in-law is a Southern Baptist. However, they raised the children to respect each faith, took them to both churches, and educated them about the differences while showing respect. However, these are two denominations that are both Christian. The main principles are similar (love thy neighbor, don't cheat, don't steal, don't kill, don't take the Lord's name in vain, give to the poor, etc.) but their "rules" are different (i.e. Catholic's can drink, Southern Baptists can't, I don't think anyway). I'll admit, I'm from a very rural midwestern town, and I don't know anyone who isn't a member of a Christian denomination. I've known two Jewish families, but not very well. Therefore, I can't really comment on couples of two widely-varying faiths. I hope this helped.

you can marry anyone you wish to.But be warned that faiths have all differences between them and some have moral issues on other faiths. I guess your question truly depends on which two religions you are speaking of.
My sister is catholic and her husband is Jewish. They have been married now for 20yrs.Happily?? Well, they were before but don't seem to be now, but I doubt that has anything relevant to their religious beliefs. Its for sure because of being with the same person you had nothing in common with for 20 yrs.

Yes. but depends on what basis of faith you define. or someone must have compromised.
No. because diff. faith means diff. life direction. Faith keep you living for a purpose and it is very fundamental of life. You'll find things start to pop up along your way without the same fundament.

My husband is Catholic and I am Baptist. We have been together for 13 years now and have never had a problem with it. We have agreed that our kids will go to both churches and know about both religions. I am not going to judge his religion and him not mine. I believe that people should respect other people's religion anyways. It can work. One religion doesn't make it better than the rest. With our religion, there is the same person behind it all.God. That is all that matters to us.

why not as long as you both respect each others faith and don't question it, or try to prove your faith is better and DO NOT try to convert them.... Its difficult, but make love and the family you both with built/raise together your common faith.

If people allowed God to pick their mate for them, this would not even be a question. Your perfect match is out there, and God knows who it is!
Peace :)
