I got my first 2 years ago. I noticed my feet would get rougher quicker and the more I got the more I needed. I know they shave off dead skin. Should I ask them not to do that?

The reason it seems that you need them more often is for two reasons. The first, you notice it more. You pay more attention to your feet and they started out so perfect that you notice any imperfection more easily.

The second reason is that when you slough off dead skin, new skin takes its place. The more you take it off, the more it comes back. One way to keep this from happening to your feet is to always wear at least socks, if not shoes and socks. Also, moisturize your feet every morning before you put on your socks.
