all answers are apreciated. im not a hockey player or anything i just like good gameplay, it doesn't have to be extremely realistic, and checking people is really fun too. Graphics are important as well. THANK YOU!

I think 2k7 will suit you better then. EA's product is WAY too technical whereas you have to press on certain keys in a certain number of combinations, kind of like playing a piano. It also has a more realistic physics engine, where the ice conditions dictate how the puck will bounce, how fast players skate, etc. 2k7 still has a bit of an arcade-y feel to it, but the graphics are still flawed like 2k6.

nhl 07 because of the new skill stick and the shootouts are really fun. The graphics are better also.

2007. However the online experience is sometimes something to be desired. I hear 2k7 is not hindered with as much lag online. However it is a far inferior game to 07

I like 07 because the 2K games always ending up breaking

2K has always been better then EA but not sure about this year.
EA always were based of % and 2K wasn't . but things may have changed,
