Hmm. He my like the attention... he may be open minded... and the gay comment are just to let you know... "Whatever happens between us.. I will never become your boyfriend or something like that".
Got him a little drunk to make him more flexible... and LET HIM come to you... you help.. but he's the one who need to do he very first move.
Good luck.

protecting the bare certainty, for its' very own Sake! i've got paid the consequences for conversing out, or appearing against injustices lots of situations in my life, that that's something of 2d nature to me now! no longer having something to do with you, Mr. Bonkers, yet i'm no longer able to abide by utilising lack of awareness, pridefulness. elitism, nor self-righteousness! If there are people who attempt to electrify me, with notions of superiority or "i'm looking down my nostril at you", i'm going to undertaking, alike a snapping turtle, the undertaking handy. i do no longer think in taking prisoners! no longer in circumstances coping with the topics above!

If you force yourself on him:end of friendship.
He seems to me to be a closet case:hence his remarks on gays.
But he is a good friend of you and you are flaming gay.
He is not worried about that.
Let him make the first move.
Do not ruin what you got right now.
Greetings:Rob.xx

If he makes comments about gay people leave him alone and find someone who clearly does not have an issue with gay people. You are wasting your time.

he probably wants you to make the first move
but he probably also just wants to experiment don't expect him to fall in love
also if he beats you up when you make the move dont blame me for this very bad advice
take a chance

He's stuck in the closet. Don't force the issue though. Let him come to you.
