It seems that the plastic ones cause them to lose conscience faster.

I like paper, for no environmental reasons, just because it's nicer than plastic. Brown paper bags!!!

Plastic. I save them and use them when I scoop out the litter box. Can you imagine doing that with paper? Yuck!

Plastic, I need those handles so I can buy $300 worth of groceries and carry them in the house in one trip.

There are environmental arguments for and against both. Both are recyclable, but the energy that goes into making each one varies depending on who you ask. I like plastic, it's easier to carry in the house, and it makes nice trash can liner for my bathroom...LOL
