In FF12, how do I get into Barheim passage?

I accidentally sold the serpentskin from one of the hunts, now I can't complete the 'Patient in the Desert' side quest, is there any other way to get into Barheim passage?

Actually, you don't have to give her the Great Serpentskin to unlock Barheim. You can still complete the quest, you just don't get as good of a prize at the end. I sold the Serpentskin too, and I was still able to get the key to Barheim later on.
