MY TWO WEEK OLD BABY IS GOING THROUGH THE "SUCKING" PHASE, I'M GOING NUTS, I TRY 3 DIFFERENT TYPES OF PACIFIERS AND HE SIMPLY HATES THEM! DOCTOR TOL ME TO LET HIM CRY AS LONG AS I KNEW THAT HE WASNT HUNGRY OR WET, I DO FOR LIKE 5 MIN, BUT IT KILLS ME TO SEE HIM SO LITTLLE AND SO UPSET, THE ONLY REMEDY I FIND IS TO.. WELL, LET HIM SOOTHE FROM MY BREAS, ANY MOTHERS OUT THERE WHO EXPERIENCED THE SAME?? ANY ADVICE ??? THANK YOU !!

Have you tried the Soothie Pacifiers yet?

My twins used them in the NICU when there were preemies until they were 5 months old.

Now, they suck on NUK pacfiers at 13 months when they nap or sleep at night.

You are breast feeding, right? I didn't breast feed my daughter but she hated every pacifiers I could find to, she hated them all. I finally stuffed cotton in a bottle nipple and she took that. But 2 months later when figured out no formula was coming out of it she wouldn't have a thing to do with it then. He will eventually give up the need to suck so much. But I understand. I hated to see my children so upset, I couldn't watch them get their shots!!! Try This and see if it may help. But I also think he may want more cuddle time with you. He may miss hearing your heartbeat he got used to hearing in your womb for 40 weeks. Good Luck to you and Gods Love!!!
