Yeah. That is absurd. But you know what? The whole gangster rap thing seems really phony to me anyway. I hate rap music, but this hip-hop culture seems like such a crock of **** anyway. Whenever I see these guys accepting Grammys or whatever, they just have this certain way of talking that doesn't seem like any kind of regional accent or anything, it all seems so practiced & unnatural & phony! Of all the pop-culture fads over the last century, hip-hop culture is the wost, phoniest, most shallow, violent, hatefull & stupid of all time! (Even more annoying than when every douchebag and his mother wore a ******' trucker cap like 3 years ago!!)

Well I don't think its all that bad. I guess it depends on what you're calling a ghetto gangsta! The idea is that these white kids are relating to the music, not so much the gangsta life!

I HATE the trend of any suburban punks acting like ghetto gangstas. Doesn't matter race or colour, what's worse is when the "minority" groups act that way they decide police are harrassing them because of their skin colour or ethnicity when in fact they are being harrassed because of the image they choose to portray, the white punks are also being "harrassed" by police, if you don't want to be bothered act like a civilized member of society.

Yeah, they piss me off. As a black person, I found it amusing at first. It was like a SNL sketch or something, but now it's aggravating as hell. It's stupid, especially since they're drawing on a media created stereotype. Even the so-called "rappers" that are out today say that half this ish they say isn't true, so why would you try to live that image? I grew up in what some would call the ghetto/hood. NOBODY acted like that!

YES! When I used to live in the Suburbs, all the boys in my grade, who were all White, loved hip-hop, and tried to dress with those chains and stuff, eventhough they would get scolded by their mothers doing so. Even here at my school in Chicago! They try to wear those mink coats and stuff. UGH! They should just be proud they are white, and not a real gangster for everyone to be afraid of!

Yes, of course.

Whiggers are stupid and everyone hates this trend except other pathetic whiggers.

It's a sad commentary on our society that this is how kids struggling to find their identity express themselves. I can only hope that I live long enough to see this trend end.

I think anyone acting like gangstas is really stupid. People really look down on them and odds are that this will haunt them for many years. Normal people are really getting fed up with this!
Pull your pants up and turn that crap music down. We don't want to hear your music or see your butt!
